Buckle Up
Certified child safety seat technicians from the City of Bethlehem health bureau and police department will assist parents with correctly installing children’s car seats. Learn about booster seats, seat belts, air bags, back seat usage and safety tips for the whole family.

“The Mystery of Little Bear”

Author Bud Cole weaves fascinating nature concepts into his storyline as a boy finds a lost puppy and embarks on a series of adventures.

October 5:
Child Fire Safety Day
Explore a real fire truck, try on firemen’s gear and find your way out of the Child Fire Safety House when City of Bethlehem and Nancy Run Volunteer Fire Company firefighters visit.

October 19:
“Lightkeepers to the Rescue!”

Author Marisa De Jesus Paolicelli joins us again. In her award-winning book, Carlito the Coqui is back and sets out to find his best friend, Armando, who is lost at sea.

November 2:
Cooking with the Cops

The sweet smell of breakfast awaits as police officers and special guests cook up pancakes, bacon and more! Limited to 50. Register by calling 610-861-5526.

Hippocampus”
Meet author and seventh-grade science teacher Tom Tancin. In the first book of his young adult fantasy trilogy, Trey Atlas, from Miami, is a boy who just lost everything. But in Atlantis, he’s the prince and savior of the island.

December 7:
Chilly Crafters and Story Time
Make a snowman gift and homemade wrapping paper for a special adult. Educator Lisa Morro will lead the snowman story time.

Youth Chess Tournament
12th annual fall youth chess championship for ages 18 and under. Five rounds of chess, rated and unrated sections. Trophies and prizes awarded.
