VCLV LogoThe Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley will offer its Volunteer Program Management Series from 2:00-4:00 PM on six consecutive Thursday afternoons beginning September 26 at the Volunteer Center, second floor of the UGI Building, 2121 City line Road, Bethlehem. Twelve hours of instruction delivered by veteran volunteer leaders will prepare attendees to develop and implement a new volunteer program or improve and strengthen an existing one. The six week curriculum focuses on the five functions of the volunteer management process including: planning, organizing, staffing, leading and directing.

Whether you manage volunteers for your church, school group or other non profit organization, this course will help you do it more effectively. The course is beneficial for both new and experienced volunteer managers and anyone who is interested in exploring a career in volunteer administration. The registration fee is $150 and includes instruction and materials. Organizations can take advantage of the group enrollment feature allowing them to pay one fee and send different people to each class.
