Cash Prizes, Cinema Passes & More on the Line at Super Smash Bros. Wii U Tournament

It’s time to brawl! Join ArtsQuest at SteelStacks for a day of video gaming in a competitive yet friendly environment during the first SmashQuest, March 12, 12 p.m., in the Fowler Blast Furnace Room of the ArtsQuest Center, 101  Founders Way Bethlehem. Gamers of all ages and skill levels are invited to take part in this regional Smash Bros. Wii U tournament while competing for cash prizes and more.

During SmashQuest, individuals test their skills while competing in the crossover fighting game Super Smash Bros., where Nintendo characters like Mario, Donkey Kong, Link, Pikachu and Mega Man leave their respective games to face off in hand to hand combat. At the end of this hard-fought battle, you’ll witness the crowning of the first ever SmashQuest champion!

SmashQuest is an elimination-style tourney for both singles and doubles, with the grand-prize winners of both tournaments receiving a cash prize and SteelStacks merchandise. The more players at SmashQuest, the more money on the line. And, once a player is eliminated, the fun doesn’t end, as the action continues with side tournaments and surprise games in which players can win SteelStacks merchandise and movie passes to the Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas. The Mike & Ike Bistro will also be open during the tournament and will feature food and beverage discounts for players.
