Nope! You Aren’t Perfect!

I hate to be the one to break this to you but you aren’t perfect! No one is! What is the meaning of perfect? Perfect: entirely without any flaws, defects, or shortcomings. We all have flaws or shortcomings. It’s what we decide to do with them. Each individual is different in mind, body and spirit. But what makes us the same is that we are all human! Humans make mistakes. We forget things. We make poor decisions sometimes too. Relax! Breathe! Take a moment and look around you. Do you have a place to live? Do you have food to eat? Do you have good health? Then guess what? You are ahead of things. Stop trying to be perfect all of the time. Take a moment to appreciate what you do have. It’s ok to strive for perfection. Most people do on a daily basis. What I’m saying to you is, don’t let it consume you! Laugh at yourself. The most important thing to remember is to learn from whatever mistakes you make and believe me you will make plenty of them! Just remember to keep moving forward in a positive way. Once you let go of “Perfect”, is when success comes to you in all walks of life! If you are lucky, you get the next day to start over!
