ALLENTOWN RESCUE MISSION has an immediate need for volunteers to coordinate their Annual Gala.   If you love planning events, help is needed with Silent & Live Auction, Set Up and Decorations, Greeting and Registration, and Centerpiece Committees.   Gala Committee meetings are being held weekly.  The date of the Event is April 8th at DeSales University.  Call Deirdre Federico, 610-740-5500 x22, dfederico@armpa.org.

BETHLEHEM SPECIAL OLYMPICS needs a golf coach & assistant golf coach for the 2017 season which begins the late March/ early April depending on weather conditions. Applicants must be able to accompany the athletes to the competition event which is held at Penn State. A one-day training session (TBD) is required.  Volunteers are also needed to help the athletes play golf during the eight practice sessions. DELAWARE & LEHIGH NATL. HERITAGE CORRIDOR, Easton needs volunteers to be D&L Ambassadors.   Ambassadors will represent the organization at “Pop Up Visitor Centers” along the trail, at Corridor outreach events, and at National Canal Museum membership tables.  Ambassadors must attend one training session; trainings are offered monthly.  Call Terri Monserrat, 610-923-3548 x224, terri@delawareandlehigh.org.

GRACEDALE NURSING HOME, Nazareth needs volunteers to escort residents to appointments within the facility.  Opportunities are Monday-Friday 9am-3pm.  Activity helpers needed to assist staff with games, crafts, special events.  Opportunities weekdays, evenings, and weekends.  Orientation provided.  Call Volunteer Office at 610-746-5248.

LILY’S HOPE FOUNDATION, Quakertown needs volunteers to contact local businesses for gift certificates and items for Raffle Baskets for their Silent Auction.  Volunteers also needed on Saturday, March 4 for fundraiser at McCoole’s Restaurant, Quakertown.  Help set up raffle tables, decorations, and seating.  This is a family friendly, semi-formal event with cocktails, Dinner, Dancing, Silent Auction, and Kids Crafts, Photo Booth, and DJ-Octave.  Call Jennifer Driscoll, 267-776-4673, jen@lilyshopefoundation.org.

MEALS ON WHEELS OF NORTHAMPTON COUNTY, Bethlehem is seeking meal delivery volunteers (18+years).  Volunteer daily or as little as twice each month, according to your availability.  Volunteers must possess a valid driver’s license and have car insurance.  Application process includes criminal background check, orientation, and on-the-road training.  Call Keri Young, 610-691-1030 x20, kerig@mealsonwheelspa.org.
