Lady AntebellumChart-topping, six-time GRAMMY winners Lady Antebellum will headline Musikfest 2016 when the group performs Sat., Aug. 13, 7 p.m., at the festival’s Sands Steel Stage. Tickets are available at www.musikfest.org and 610-332-3378.

Formed in Nashville in 2006, Lady Antebellum quickly rose to stardom on the strength of hits like “I Run to You” and “Love Don’t Live Here” from its self-titled debut, as well as “American Honey” and the multi-platinum smash “Need You Now” from its second album, “Need You Now.” The group – consisting of Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood – has produced numerous hits over the past decade, while capturing six GRAMMY Awards including “Record of the Year” and “Song of the Year” for “Need You Now” in 2010.

Lady Antebellum was named 2007’s Top New Vocal Duo or Group by the Academy of Country Music and the 2008 New Artist of the Year by the Country Music Association. In addition to its five studio albums, four of which have reached No. 1 on the country charts, it released the popular holiday album “On This Winter’s Night,” which hit No. 8 on the Billboard 200. The trio’s most recent recording is “747,” which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and featured the hit “Bartender.” In early February, Kelley is set to release his first full-length solo recording, “The Driver.”
