It’ll be an epic battle as the US Men’s National Soccer Team goes up against Ecuador in the Copa America Quarterfinals June 16, and the Lehigh Valley SoccerFest at SteelStacks will have all the action.
Highlighting SoccerFest this Thursday is the 9:30 p.m. US vs. Ecuador match shown on the campus’ two jumbo screens, on the Levitt Pavilion lawn and outside the PBS 39 building. The evening, which begins at 8 p.m., also features:
– Small-sided games presented by Lehigh Valley United & Kwik Goal Soccer Tennis
– Soccer merch for sale by Pocono Cup and ArtsQuest
– Inflatables by Bethlehem Steel FC
– Performance by Rush tribute band Lotus Land, 7:30 p.m. on the Levitt Pavilion stage
– Displays by Discover Lehigh Valley, American Outlaws Bethlehem & more.
A partnership between Discover Lehigh Valley, Lehigh Valley United, Lehigh Mining & Navigation and ArtsQuest, the Lehigh Valley SoccerFest is a free festival that has attracted single-game crowds of up to 10,000 cheering fans to SteelStacks in past years. Sponsors supporting the 2016 event include Discover Lehigh Valley, Kwik Goal, Outlets at Sands Bethlehem, Lehigh Valley Health Network, Air Products, Red Robin, PBS39 and Bethlehem Steel FC.
