MEALS ON WHEELS OF LEHIGH COUNTY, Allentown is looking for volunteers (18+ years) to distribute meals to homebound individuals as a substitute volunteer.  No need to commit to a regular schedule.  Teams of 2 deliver on 33 routes throughout Lehigh County.  Drive a route or ride along as a visitor.  Bring a friend and form a team or let us provide a partner for you.   Delivery times are between 11am and 1pm Monday through Friday.  Next training scheduled Tuesday, Oct. 25 at 10:30am and Thursday, 10/27 at 1:30pm.  Call Dawn Stillwagen, 610-398-2563, dstillwagen@mealsonwheelslc.org.

MORAVIAN HALL SQUARE, Nazareth needs volunteers for their Good Spirits General Store/Gift Shop.  Must commit to at least one 2 or 3 hour shift per week.  Times needed are 2-4:30pm Monday, 10:45am-2pm or 2-4:30pm most Tuesdays, 10:45am-2pm Thursday, some Saturdays are available 10:45am-3pm.  Training provided after application and background check.  Call Laurie Brunstetter, 610-746-1334, laurieb@moravian.com.

PLEASURE OF YOUR COMPANY THERAPY DOGS, INC., Kutztown has several volunteer opportunities available.  Therapy dogs are needed to visit residents of Kutztown Manor from 7-8pm every 2nd Monday of the month.  At the Brandywine Library, children read to therapy dogs to develop their love for reading.   Therapy dogs visit residents of Cedarbrook Nursing Home every 2nd Wednesday of the month starting at 7pm.  Therapy dog teams must be registered  PoYC tested teams.    Call Helene Skopek-Krygier, 570-814-6078, poycdogs@yahoo.com.
