MEALS ON WHEELS OF NORTHAMPTON COUNTY, Bethlehem is seeking meal delivery volunteers (18+years).  Volunteer daily or as little as twice each month, according to your availability.  Volunteers must possess a valid driver’s license and have car insurance.  Application process includes criminal background check, orientation, and on-the-road training.  Call Janet Soos, 610-691-1030 x18, janets@mealsonwheelspa.org.

MILLER-KEYSTONE BLOOD CENTER, Bethlehem is looking for Canteen Attendants on Saturday from 10am-1pm at their Allentown site.  Volunteers are also needed for their bloodmobiles.  Canteen attendants monitor blood donors after their donations, serve drinks/snacks to our donors, and ensure donors are feeling well before leaving the site.  Volunteers with flexible availability are also needed.    Orientation  scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 5 from 10am-12noon.   Call Janice Brown, 610-691-5850, jbrown@giveapint.org.

PLEASURE OF YOUR COMPANY THERAPY DOGS, INC., Kutztown has volunteer opportunities for all breeds of dogs to become “Therapy Dogs” and visit nursing homes, hospitals, schools, and other facilities throughout the Lehigh Valley.  Therapy dogs must have basic obedience training, and obey basic commands, even when excited.  Dogs should be sociable, love meeting new people, get along well with other dogs, be gentle and polite, and under owner’s control at all times.  Call Helene Skopek-Krygier, 570-814-6078, poycdogs@yahoo.com.

THE GRESS MOUNTAIN RANCH, Orefield is hosting an Open Gate Farm Tour on Sunday, Oct. 16 from 1-5pm.  Volunteers are needed to help with set up/take down, parking, run bake sale and raffle, and handle the animals.  Horse volunteers must be experienced.  Live music, educational talks, Petting Zoo, and horse/pony/donkey cart rides will provide entertainment for all.  Call Kathryn Gress, 610-398-2122, gressranch@gmail.com.
