This Veteran’s Day, bed & breakfasts across the country, including the stunning The Inn at Bowman’s Hill in nearby New Hope, are saying thanks to veterans with a grand gesture. A group of over 700 Bed & Breakfasts across the U.S. & Canada have joined together with “A Better Way to Stay” to honor Veterans with a “B&B for Vets” program.
In addition to providing a select number of complimentary rooms to honor Veterans on Thursday November 10th, the Inn at Bowman’s Hill is extending a variety of other amazing last minute special to guests, whether celebrating the holiday or marking another special occasion. Enjoy!
So how does the program work?
On Thursday November 10th , participating B&B’s are inviting veterans to a complimentary stay. Our friends to the South at New Hope’s four diamond The Inn at Bowman’s Hill (pictured below) have generously donated half of their rooms for the evening!
On Veteran’s Day morning, Friday, November 11th, a special performance by renowned musician and former member of the U.S. Coastguard Rio Clemente will take place. Rio, a veteran, will perform, in uniform, a medley from his acclaimed 9/11 tribute album entitled America’s Spirit Rediscovered.
In addition to the private performance for the guests of The Inn at Bowman’s Hill, Rio Clemente will also be performing together with local impresario Bob Egan on Friday evening at the nearby restaurant, Bowman’s Tavern, located on River Road, just ½ mile from The Inn at Bowman’s Hill.
