Fore! Golf aficionados and Musikfest fans are coming together in support of the nation’s largest free music festival when the 5th annual Musikfest Golf Tournament presented by B Braun Medical and Tri Outdoor tees off July 10 in Bethlehem. The event, which starts at 11 a.m., takes place at the Bethlehem Golf Club, located at 400 Illick’s Mill Road. Registrations can be made online at www.musikfest.org or in person at the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks, 101 Founders Way, Bethlehem.

A unique four-man scramble, the Musikfest Golf Tournament features food stops at several holes where golfers enjoy Musikfest favorites served by some of the festival’s most popular vendors including roasted corn by Aw Shucks, chipwiches by Bethlehem Dairy Store, burgers and cheeseburgers by Heaven on a Bun, smoothies by Island Expressions and gyros by Theo’s Gyros. The afternoon concludes with a delicious buffet catered by Blue Mountain Catering and the awarding of a variety of great prizes.

The Musikfest Golf Tournament is limited to 36 foursomes and includes two flights. Prizes are awarded to the top teams in each flight, as well as for the longest and straightest drives and the closest shot to the pin. In addition, any golfer who scores a hole in one on the 14th hole will win a brand new Chevrolet automobile courtesy of Chevy 21 of Bethlehem.

Early bird registration for the tournament is $500 per foursome through June 5; regular entry fees starting June 6 are $550 per foursome or $150 per person. Entry fee includes greens fees, golf cart, Musikfest gift bag and food & beverages.

Sponsors helping to make the Musikfest Golf Tournament possible include presenting partner B Braun Medical and presenting media partner Tri Outdoor, as well as Bethlehem Golf Club, Blue Mountain Catering, Chevy 21, Christmas City Printing, Dieter Brothers, Martin Guitar and Service Electric Cable TV & Communications. Proceeds from the event go to support ArtsQuest’s music, arts and education programming for the community, including the 500-plus free concerts the nonprofit presents annually at Musikfest.
