The Public Is Invited To Enter!

Love Musikfest? Have a favorite “Platz“?  Show your holiday and Musikfest spirit by reimagining your favorite festival venue as a gingerbread house in the new Musikfest “Platz” category in the 3^rd-annual SteelStacks Gingerbread House Competition & Exhibit. This year’s exhibit will take place Nov. 20-Dec. 20 at the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks, 101 Founders Way, Bethlehem.

Gingerbread houses will be judged in five categories – Traditional Gingerbread House; Student Gingerbread House Creation for grades 6-8; Student Gingerbread House Creation for grades 9-12; Kids & Family Gingerbread Creation for ages 12 and under; and the Reproduction of Your Favorite Musikfest “Platz”. First- and second-prize winners in each category will take home cash prizes of $125 and $100 respectively; third-prize winners will each receive a $25 ArtsQuest gift card.

Any individual or group interested in entering the competition must fill out the SteelStacks Gingerbread House Competition entry form at www.steelstacks.org/gingerbread by Nov. 15. Gingerbread houses must be brought to the ArtsQuest Center between Nov. 17 and 19 and will remain on display through Dec. 20; winners will be announced Dec. 21.
