Bring Your Pet to 1748 Burnside Plantation
Presented by
Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites
Capture your pet’s perfect pose with the beautiful, picturesque autumn backdrop of Burnside Plantation, and get in the spirit of Halloween and dress your dog in costume for the perfect holiday picture! Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites invites you to bring your furry ones to Burnside Plantation for Pet Portraits, our newest program inspired by the Portraits exhibition which runs until November 30, 2014 at the Kemerer Museum of Decorative Arts.
There will be set locations and props to complement the fall foliage of the plantation with its historic barns and farm house, helping you create your rustic masterpiece. Bring your own camera to photograph your pet, or let us take the photos for you.
Think your pet can take home the award for best picture? Pick the perfect shot and send it to dstickle@historicbethlehem.org to be posted on our Facebook page. The pet portrait with the most likes by November 1 will win their owner a 4-site Pass Into History; allowing owners to have the complete Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites experience.
Come anytime on October 26, from 12-4pm. This event is free, though donations in support of Burnside Plantation are encouraged. While HBMS envisions mainly canine portrait-sitters, other well-behaved small animals are welcome to participate. Burnside Plantation is located at 1461 Schoenersville Road, Bethlehem, PA 18018. Questions about the event or how to visit? Call 1-800-360-TOUR or visit HistoricBethlehem.org for more information on tour times and offerings.
