Concert at SteelStacks to Benefit ArtsQuest’s Artist Fund

The music of The Who will be celebrated during the second-annual ArtsQuest Artist Fund Benefit Concert Sept. 13, 7 p.m., at the Musikfest Café, located at the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks, 101 Founders Way, Bethlehem.

Tickets for ‘The Music of the Who” are $32 and are currently on sale to the public. They’ll be available at www.artsquest.org and 610-333-3378. A limited number of VIP packages, which include a reception, food and beverages, will also be on sale for $100 each.

During the ArtsQuest Artist Fund Benefit Concert, some of most popular acts from the Lehigh Valley and surrounding region will take to the stage to perform classics and deep cuts from Rock and Roll Hall of Famers The Who.  Among the bands who will perform are Scott Marshall and the Hillbilly Souls, Lou Franco Project, The Large Flowerheads, the students and instructors from The Learning Center and more. Just a few of the songs guests will hear are hits like “My Generation” and “Behind Blue Eyes,” as well as “In Tune” from the classic recording “Who’s Next” and music from the rock opera “Tommy.” Additional acts will be announced in the coming weeks.

ArtsQuest’s Artist Fund helps to support performing opportunities for area musicians, as well as ArtsQuest’s 750 free concerts for the community throughout the year. Last year’s benefit show raised more than $10,000 to support the programming fund.
