Labor Day came and went! Cooler weather will be setting in soon. Heartier foods will be in season, such as pumpkin, squash of all varieties, carrots, sweet potatoes, apples, citrus and much more. Eating whole foods from the Earth is going to keep you healthy! Stop relying on boxed processed foods, foods made with white flour is not healthy either. Eat foods that are filled with fiber as stated above and also incorporate whole grains like oats, quinoa, brown rice, etc. Give your body the nutrients it needs for heart health, reduce cancer risk, reduce risk of Type 2 Diabetes, lower cholesterol, etc. Food is your medicine! Reduce your stress by exercising, especially outdoors; Vitamin D will help increase your mood! Dress in layers and stay hydrated. Are you getting enough sleep? That plays a role in your stress levels and healthy living too. Try not to make healthy living difficult. It’s about creating better habits for yourself. Have any questions?
