Open Spaces of Easton
Grossman Gallery, Lafayette College

The Karl Stirner Arts Trail, Lafayette College and the City of Easton are pleased to announce that they will host Open Spaces, an exhibition celebrating the landscapes of the Karl Stirner Arts Trail and the Easton Cemetery in the Grossman Gallery (Lafayette College).

Completed works depicting either of the two locations dropped off between June 26 and July 3 will be considered for exhibition. Up to three works may be submitted for consideration. Artists must fill out a registration upon drop off. Selected works will be hung by gallery staff prior to the exhibition dates, July 11-August 19, 2017. Opening Reception: July 15, 5:00-7:00 PM

There is no cost for entries, however, the Grossman Gallery reserves the right to refuse or reject works at their discretion. Work needs to be prepared (framed or otherwise ready for wall or floor placement), and ready to be hung. All mediums will be accepted for consideration.  Content must take inspiration directly from locations on the Karl Stirner Arts Trail or the Easton Cemetery (entrance on 7th Street or Grace Gate along KSAT). Plein Air encouraged, but not required.

Awards:

Best in Show- $1,000.00
Runner Up- $250.00
Honorable Mention- $100.00; all determined by public vote. The artist winning Best in Show will agree to allow the City of Easton, the Karl Stirner Arts Trail, and the Easton Cemetery to use their winning entry image for promotion.
