Make sure to visit Blake during the hours of 1-6PM.

Through a vision for a mobile space exploration laboratory and the donation of a lot of community effort and time and the $3.1 million dollar Blake was born.  The project combined incredible talents, the latest technology and more than 30 employees and retirees of Mack’s Engineering Development and Test Center.  Between 1989 and 1995, more than 34,000 hours of work went into making this project a reality.

Blake was commissioned by NASA in Washington on June 26, 1995 and is now housed at Lehigh Valley International Airport.  It’s educational tools include flight simulators, robotics and interactive computer labs and telecommunications capable of conversing with NASA. Plans are underway to develop a program around this highly-sought after learning apparatus.
