Smoked Bacon, Beer & Pumpkin Soup; Bacon Wrapped Bratwurst Kabobs; and Bacon Crème Brûlée are among the unique culinary creations guests can explore as ArtsQuest presents the inaugural “Yuengling, Bacon & Brats” event at the Musikfest Café at SteelStacks Sun., Nov. 15 at 1 and 4 p.m. Tickets for each seating session are $44.95 for ArtsQuest Members and $49.95 for the public; they’re on sale at steelstacks.org and 610-332-3378.
At “Yuengling, Bacon & Brats,” attendees will enjoy four courses created especially for the event by ArtsQuest Center Executive Chef Michael Hoffman, with each dish featuring juicy brats, sizzling bacon or both. All four selections will be perfectly paired with a D.G. Yuengling & Son beer, including the brand-new Yuengling India Pale Lager (IPL). Both Hoffman and D.G. Yuengling & Son Lead Brewer John Callahan will be on hand to talk about each pairing. In addition, the afternoon will feature live music by Tim Harakal, prize giveaways and football games shown on the Musikfest Café TV screens.
