ANNUAL SUMMER MUSIC SERIES RETURNS TO LEHIGH VALLEY MALL
Lehigh Valley Mall’s free Summer Music Series returns for its third season in June. Sponsored this year by FIAT of Lehigh Valley, the series will take place each Thursday in June from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at the Outdoor Shops and will feature a range of the region’s top musical acts including:
June 4 – School’s Out Band, a seven-piece Motown, Oldies, R&B band that boasts six lead vocalists and bass, guitar, horn, keyboard, organ drum and percussion players.
June 11 – The Aardvarks, mixing time periods and styles of covers and original music into their non-stop, high-energy sets.
June 18 – James Supra Blues Band and special guest Sara Ayers, combining blues and ambient sound techniques for audiences.
June 25 – Philadelphia Funk Authority, an award-winning party band who will bring the energy across a variety of music genres from disco to jazz.
“There’s no better way to kick off the summer than with a crowd-pleasing lineup for our Summer Music Series,” said Elizabeth DiDuca, Director of Mall Marketing and Business Development. “The event has grown in popularity over the years, especially among families, and we’re excited to bring more great names to the stage for our community to enjoy.”
The first 100 attendees will receive a giveaway from participating retailers. All guests are invited to bring chairs and blankets to view the free performances, which will be open to the public.
Lehigh Valley Mall will also offer a gift with purchase to coincide with the Summer Music Series from June 4 through June 25. To redeem, shoppers must bring $250 in Lehigh Valley Mall receipts to Simon Guest Services, located on the Lower Level near Boscov’s, while supplies last.
