In the battle between Pennsylvania and New Jersey’s food trucks, guests’ taste buds weren’t the only winners at the Food Truck Border Brawl at SteelStacks on June 10.

Serving up Greek favorites like Lollipop Lamb Chops with Tzatziki Sauce, Phyllodelphia of Glenmore, Pa., was named “Best Overall Food Truck” by the Border Brawl Judging Panel. The crowd was also wowed by The Empanada Guy of Old Bridge, N.J., who’s truck was named the “People’s Choice” winner via public vote for the second year in a row. Based on the judges’ cumulative scores, Pennsylvania was named the winning state in the 2017 event.

The Food Truck Border Brawl featured 10 food trucks from the Garden State going head to head against 10 mobile eateries from the Keystone State. Proceeds from the event support the nonprofit ArtsQuest’s free music, arts and education programming for the region, including Musikfest, the largest free music festival in the nation.
