CEDARBROOK NURSING HOME, Allentown is in great need of help from 9am-3pm for their Annual Holiday Craft Bazaar on Friday, Nov. 11.  Help is needed to escort their residents to the auditorium so they can shop.  Volunteers are also needed at the tables, with the bake sale, and with set up and clean up.   Looking for some volunteers to sign up for a few hours.  Call Kerry Magliane, 610-336-5684, [email protected].

D & L NATIONAL HERITAGE CORRIDOR, INC., Easton needs Half Marathon Run/Walk volunteers.  Volunteers are needed for trail clean up on Fri. Nov. 4, on Sat. Nov. 5 for preparing hydration stations and packet pick up, and especially for race day Sun. FOUNTAIN HILL CEMETERY needs volunteers (16+ years) for weeding, trimming of shrubs and weed-whacking in the Green Meadow Natural Burial Ground. INDEPENDENT TRANSPORTATION NETWORK LEHIGH VALLEY (ITNLehighValley), Bethlehem provides 24/7 safe, reliable, affordable transportation for seniors and visually impaired adults in the Lehigh Valley.  Drivers are needed.  Drive when and where you want.  No minimum time requirement.  A vehicle and clean driving record are required.  Training provided.  Call Karen Schiavone, 610-419-1645, [email protected].

LEHIGH COUNTY SPECIAL OLYMPICS, Allentown is looking for an Outreach Coordinator to increase athlete participation.  Also needed are an Assistant County Manager, a Fundraising Coordinator, a Newsletter Coordinator, and Ski Coaches for eight Blue Mountain Ski area practices held on Wednesday evenings, especially female ski coaches.  Call Patty Feninez, 484-274-8544, [email protected].

NORTHEAST MINISTRY, Bethlehem has a need for Volunteer Tutors (18+ years) for their After School Homework Club.  Help students in grades 1-12 from 3-5pm Monday through Thursday.  Tutors provide academic support and mentor students while assisting with homework.  Mandatory PA State background checks are required for all tutors.  Call Paula Johnson, 6410-691-3355, [email protected].

THIRD STREET ALLIANCE FOR WOMEN & CHILDREN, INC., Easton – While Moms and Dads are in a workshop, their children need some volunteers (18+ years) to care for them for 1 ½ hours.  Volunteers are needed from 6-7:30pm on Mondays and Thursdays through November 17th.  Requests of volunteers may be reading, homework, playing games, etc.  All volunteers must have all criminal background checks and TB test.  Call Wendy Hughes, 610-258-6271, [email protected].
