DAVINCI SCIENCE CENTER, Allentown is looking for enthusiastic volunteers (15+ years) to help bring science to life on their exhibit floor and assist with their public programs.  They are now accepting Volunteer Applications to start in Spring 2017; application deadline is 1/27/17.  Must be available for group interview on Wed. 2/1 and orientation Wed. 2/8.  Must be willing to serve at least 4 consecutive hours when scheduled.  PA Child Abuse Record & Criminal Record Background checks required.  Call Joan Amayo, 484-664-1002, joan@davincisciencecenter.org.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY LV RESTORE, Whitehall – Come to ReMix latex paint and create new recolor latex paint for sale at the ReStore.  Assist with sorting colors, opening paint cans, mixing paint, dispensing the new paint, and labeling new cans.  Shifts are 10am-2pm or 2pm-5pm on Thursdays and Fridays.  Call Camille Urbano, 610-776-7737, Camille@habitatlv.org.

MEALS ON WHEELS OF LEHIGH COUNTY, Allentown is looking for volunteers (18+ years) to distribute meals to homebound individuals as a substitute volunteer.  No need to commit to a regular schedule.  Teams of 2 deliver on 33 routes throughout Lehigh County.  Drive a route or ride along as a visitor.  Bring a friend and form a team or let us provide a partner for you.   Delivery times are between 11am and 1pm Monday – Friday.  Next trainings scheduled for 1:30pm Tuesday 1/10, 10:30am Thursday, 1/19, or 10:30am Wednesday, 1/25.  Call Dawn Stillwagen, 610-398-2563, dstillwagen@mealsonwheelslc.org.

MILLER-KEYSTONE BLOOD CENTER, Bethlehem is looking for Canteen Attendants on Saturday from 10am-1pm at their Allentown site.  Volunteers are also needed for their bloodmobiles.  Canteen attendants monitor blood donors after their donations, serve drinks/snacks to our donors, and ensure donors are feeling well before leaving the site.  Volunteers with flexible availability are also needed.    Call Janice Brown, 610-691-5850, jbrown@giveapint.org.

MORAVIAN HISTORICAL SOCIETY, Bethlehem is seeking volunteer help to index historic church registers in an online database. Must volunteer on-site and have some experience with a computer.  Church registers that date back to the 1700s and later will be used.  This database will include baptisms, confirmations, marriages, burials, ordinations, and removals.  Help us preserve history one name at a time!  Call William Christman, 610-759-5070, volunteer@moravianhistoricalsociety.org.
