AMERICAN RED CROSS OF THE GREATER LEHIGH VALLEY, Allentown is looking for an Events Partner to coordinate events and be the single point of contact for all event requests. COMMUNITY BIKE WORKS, Allentown needs “Earn-a-Bike” instructors for children ages 9-17.  Volunteers will mentor and assist children in repairing bicycles.  Commitment is 6-8pm one night a week for 12 weeks.  No experience necessary.  Training provided.  Call Dave Edinger, 610-434-1140, dedinger@communitybikeworks.org.

D & LEHIGH NATIONAL HERITAGE CORRIDOR, INC., Easton needs volunteers to play the part of their mascot, Della the Mule, in September through December.  Successful Della actors are energetic, outgoing, don’t mind being silly and like children.  Tasks include waving, stamping hands with our mule stamp, giving high fives, bending down to let kids give hugs and take pictures.  Call Lauren Golden, 610-923-3548×227, lauren@delawareandlehigh.org.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY LV RESTORE, Whitehall – Come to ReMix latex paint and create new recolor latex paint for sale at the ReStore.  Assist with sorting colors, opening paint cans, mixing paint, dispensing the new paint, and labeling new cans.  Shifts are 10am-2pm or 2pm-5pm on Thursdays and Fridays.  Call Camille Urbano, 610-776-7737, Camille@habitatlv.org.

MILLER-KEYSTONE BLOOD CENTER, Bethlehem is looking for Canteen Attendants on Saturday from 10am-1pm at their Allentown site and at their Bethlehem site on Monday 5:30-8pm.  Canteen attendants monitor blood donors after their donations, serve drinks/snacks to our donors, and ensure donors are feeling well before leaving the site.  Volunteers with flexible availability are also needed.  Orientation will be held August 24.  Call Janice Brown, 610-691-5850, jbrown@giveapint.org.

SACRED HEART HOSPITAL, Allentown needs reliable, friendly volunteers for the Hospital Gift Shop.  Duties include light stocking, customer assistance, and completing sales.  Weekdays, evenings, and weekend shifts available.  Training provided.  Call Beth Fogel, 610-776-5413, bfogel@shh.org.

THE GRESS MOUNTAIN RANCH, Orefield is hosting an Open Gate Farm Tour on Sunday, Oct. 16 from 1-5pm.  Volunteers are needed to help with set up/take down, parking, run bake sale and raffle, and handle the animals.  Horse volunteers must be experienced.  Live music, educational talks, Petting Zoo, and horse/pony/donkey cart rides will provide entertainment for all.  Call Kathryn Gress, 610-398-2122, gressranch@gmail.com.
