pollinatorBees, Butterflies and Beetles, Oh No!…In the Pollinator Garden at Blueberry Festival

Kids will buzz with delight at Burnside Plantation as they explore the Pollinator Garden during this month’s Back To Your Roots, the hands-on children’s program that offers down-on-the-farm, interactive fun!

Join Historic Bethlehem Museums and Sites on Saturday, July 20 and July 21 (both Saturday and Sunday this monthly only) for this special program right in the middle of the annual Blueberry Festival. Discover the kid-friendly Pollinator Garden and engage in fun and entertaining games and activities. Check out the plants and the insects that pollinate them, and learn about all the good guys in the garden like bees, butterflies, and beetles!

Gain an understanding about how pollination works, and how pollination helps us every day. Bloom with excitement as you create your very own good guy insect puppet, and then use it to play an awesome game of Pollinator!

Meet at the lower level of Haas barn Children’s Activity Center where the fun begins! And don’t forget to check out the Blueberry Festival afterwards for more colonial games, activities such as build a bluebird box and the fun children’s blueberry pie-eating contest.
