MeghanLinseyAfter wowing audiences on this past season of The Voice, talented singer-songwriter Meghan Linsey will bring her dynamic sound to the ArtsQuest Center’s Musikfest Café presented by Yuengling.  Tickets for her concert, set for Oct. 25, 8 p.m., are $15 and are on sale at www.steelstacks.org and 610-332-3378.

The first contestant to ever sing and release an original song on The Voice, Linsey captured the nation’s attention while performing renditions of songs ranging from “Love Hurts” and “When a Man Loves a Woman,” to “Piece of My Heart (with contestant Sarah Potenza)” and “Invincible” with Kelly Clarkston. Her original, “Change My Mind,” performed during the finals of Season 8, made the Top 5 of the iTunes all genre chart, selling more than 50,000 downloads in less than a week. All told, the Louisiana native had three Top 5 songs on iTunes’ all genre chart as a result of her performances on the hit TV show.

Prior to The Voice, Linsey had teamed with Joshua Scott Jones to form the duo Steel Magnolia. In 2009, they were the winners of the CMT music competition Can You Duet, with their first single, “Keep on Loving You,” reaching No. 4 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart. Linsey has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in music including Brad Paisley, REBA, Blake Shelton and Bob Seger.

The Musikfest Café presented by Yuengling is located in the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks, 101 Founders Way, Bethlehem. For more information on the Meghan Linsey concert and all upcoming Musikfest Café shows, please visit www.steelstacks.org.
