The 13th annual Spirit of Volunteerism Awards will be held Wednesday November 4th at the event center at blue from 5:30 to 8:00 pm. This event coordinated by the Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley, honors local businesses and employee volunteers who have demonstrated excellence in community service by giving generously of their time and talents to make life better for others and for the community in which we live. The Honorary Chair for this event is Bob Oster, CEO of Concannon, Miller & Co. and our emcee for the evening is Eve Tannery of WFMZ.
Spirit of Volunteerism Awards will be presented to: Just Born; Mark Pesavento of B. Braun Medical Inc.; Olympus Corporation of the Americas; Jeff Worman of Pro Compressor; Liberty Property Trust; Bryan Lobach of Embassy Bank; Potts Family of Potts’ Doggie Shop and The PEAK TV.
In addition, the following nominees will be recognized with the President’s Volunteer Service Award, a program created to thank and honor Americans who, by their demonstrated commitment and example, inspire others to engage in volunteer service: Lois Frey, Knoll Furniture; Christopher Sherry, Walmart Dotcom Fulfilment Center; and Molly Albano, student at Muhlenberg College.
