Season Grand Opening – April 6, 2013

Join the zoo for the Season Grand Opening and the opening of the newest exhibit, North American Trail. North American Trail will highlight over forty species of North American animals, including the endangered Mexican Gray Wolf and threatened North AmericanRiver Otter. A Seasonal Guest Engagement Leader strolling throughout the Zoo’s North American exhibit area will provide guests interactive educational encounters with native North American species. Our season opening will feature a K’nex Tinkertoy play area, free s’mores by Pennsylvania Camping, a camping area by Cabela’s, Radio Disney and more Smart FUN activities throughout the day.

Farm Fest – April 13, 2013

Join us on Saturday, April 13 when we again celebrate our Farm in the Zoo with Farm Fest. This season, you will be able to walk through our Farm in the Zoo and get a closer at these amazing animals. Join us for a sheep to shawl, learn about the local farmers’ markets and get your picture with the Turkey Hill Giant Cow!

Party for the Planet – April 20, 2013

On Saturday, April 20, we will host our annual Party for the Planet. This year’s event will feature a real-life mermaid, a Home Depot Kids Workshop and the Lehigh Valley Cloth Diaper Change. And what would be a party without cake? Like us on Facebook, and help us reach 10,000 Facebook fans by our Season Opening on April 6.
