Crayola Exprerience LogoCrayola Experience is calling all kids to take part in the creation of a permanent art installation to be unveiled at the facility’s grand re-opening.

Crayola lend a handFor a limited time, while the Crayola Experience is closed for remodeling, children who visit the Crayola Store can contribute their own colorful handprints to the project’s design. The first 1,000 handprints created will be scanned and incorporated into one of the Crayola Experience’s prominent display spaces.

“The handprints are a fun way to allow kids to be part of something special,” said Kristin Luise, marketing manager. “The Crayola Experience is a hands-on attraction, and there is nothing more ‘hands-on’ than lending your own unique handprints to a project like this. Because the Crayola brand is synonymous with childhood, this project celebrates kids, color, and creativity in a way that only Crayola can.”

Children can create a handprint at The Crayola Store in Centre Square during regular store hours from Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and weekends, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There is no fee to participate in this activity.

The Crayola Experience remains under construction through Memorial Day Weekend. Upon completion, the renovated and expanded facility will house 18 major activities and four floors of one-of-a-kind experiences designed to bring the magic of colors, chemistry, and technology in a way that is uniquely Crayola.
