When Antonio Salemme at age 70 moved from New York, where he had achieved national prominence, to Northampton County, he rejected a life of retirement and instead sought new approaches in sculpture and painting to express his passion for human character. The selection of paintings and sculpture at the Sigal Museum will give the viewer an appreciation of the 80-year span of artistic creation.
