Glengarry BhoysPopular ’60s pop band The Cowsills, Celtic group Glengarry Bhoys and The Eagles tribute band Eaglemania are the latest additions to the lineup at the ArtsQuest Center’s Musikfest Café presented by Yuengling. Tickets for the performances will go on sale to the public Dec. 11, 10 a.m., at www.steelstacks.org and 610-332-3378.

The real-life inspirations behind the hit television series “The Partridge Family,” The Cowsills are one of the biggest pop acts of the late ‘60s. Formed by brothers Bill, Bob, Barry and John, and eventually adding in mother Barbara and siblings Susan (who was just 7-years old at the time) and Paul, the group used angelic harmonies and catchy lyrics to keep their audiences on their feet. The Cowsills have performed on popular TV shows such as “The Ed Sullivan Show” and “The Tonight Show,” and also had their own NBC special in 1968. Just one year later, they had their biggest hit, the multi-million selling title song from the musical “Hair.” Fans of the iconic group can check them out Feb. 4, 7:30 p.m.

Describing themselves as a hybrid of Canadian Highland Scots and French Canadian musical idioms, the Glengarry Bhoys integrate energy and humor into their performances. In an interview with the Canadian Broadcasting Company’s “Fresh Air,” lead singer Graham Wright said that their goal is simple: “…if our audience can only get 10 percent of the satisfaction we get entertaining them, then we surpass (our) objective.” Don’t miss this dynamic Celtic-stomp band when it performs March 19, 7:30 p.m., at the Musikfest Café.

An ensemble of musicians who have dedicated themselves to reproducing the sound of The Eagles, Eaglemania will thrill audiences with their stunning harmonies and uncanny ability to emulate Glenn Frey, Don Henley and Joe Walsh note for note March 25, 7:30 p.m., at the Musikfest Café. Listen to perfectly recreated hits like “Hotel California,” “Witchy Woman” and “Life in the Fast Lane” while sipping on a Tequila Sunrise from the Musikfest Café’s bar.
