Christmas City Village is an open-air Christmas market that houses 30 vendors in German-style wooden huts from Friday – Sunday and the entire week after Christmas every day, nestled in the heart of the Historic Shopping District in Bethlehem. Fashioned after the traditional German Weihnachtsmarkt (pronounced vy-naukts-markt), the Christmas City Village will feature 20 wooden huts, where vendors will sell a variety of holiday crafts and gifts. Enjoy traditional German fare, or hot mulled wine, as you meander through a market that boasts no admission fee! With more than 1,000,000 visitors to Bethlehem during the Christmas season, Christmas City Village is the perfect addition to Pennsylvania’s Christmas City!

Christmas City Village is a family-friendly event designed to capitalize on Bethlehem’s strong Christmas traditions. Since adopting the Christmas City USA moniker in 1937, the Chamber has used the holiday to promote businesses in Historic Downtown Bethlehem.

In a nod to Bethlehem’s German roots, Christmas City Village will be a traditional Weihnachtsmarkt set outdoors in the picturesque Sun Inn courtyard. Food, find crafters and live holiday music will vend from authentic hand-crafted wooden huts. Decorative lights and greens will fill the pocket park with the same spirit as European Christmas festivals.

There will be a collection of different unique vendors each weekend. This is the 2nd year of the Christmas City Village.  The vendors change every week and there is live entertainment on Saturdays.
