Dr. K’s Motown Revue Performance Rescheduled for Sept. 12

BadfingerBadfinger will rock the Levitt Pavilion SteelStacks when it performs as part of the 2014 Summer Concert Series presented by Highmark Blue Shield Aug. 23, 7:30 p.m. The band’s show replaces the Fox Street performance originally scheduled for the date.

Originally signed to The Beatles’ Apple Records label as the Iveys, Badfinger produced a string of hits in the early 1970s. Among the group’s classics are “Come and Get it” (written and produced by Paul McCartney), “Baby Blue,” “Day After Day” and “No Matter What,” a Top 10 hit in both the U.S. and the U.K.

The Levitt Pavilion also announces that Dr. K’s Motown Revue, originally scheduled for May 23, will perform Sept. 12, 7:30 p.m. The band’s original performance was postponed due to inclement weather; Dr. K’s new date takes the place of the Vanilla Fudge performance originally announced for Sept. 12.
