Musikfest’s 2016 main stage lineup will take on a slightly different look in the coming weeks as the Aretha Franklin show on Aug. 8 has been cancelled.

According to Franklin’s management, the concert at the Sands Steel Stage was cancelled due to unforeseen logistical issues. As a result of the lineup change, Musikfest is looking at a variety of options for a main stage performance on Aug. 8. Details will be announced as soon as the show is confirmed.

Customers who purchased tickets to the Aretha Franklin concert via credit and debit cards can expect their refund to be processed by July 8. Individuals who purchased their tickets via cash or check must present their tickets in person at the ArtsQuest Center Box Office, 101 Founders Way, Bethlehem for a refund.

One of the largest music festivals in the nation, Musikfest features more than 500 performances on 15 stages throughout Bethlehem over 10 days. Other artists performing at the festival Aug. 5-14 include Lady Antebellum, RUN-DMC, X-Ambassadors, Sabrina Carpenter, Don Henley, Dierks Bentley, Monsieur Periné and more.
