Persa Auto Repair center, located on Route 512 in Bath, has been in business since 1990. Enthusiastic owner, David Persa, has over 35 years of experience; starting his career while still in high school. Beginning his own auto repair shop had always been his dream and the passion to repair cars is still with him to this day. David has a philosophy about his work: “I treat every vehicle that comes into my shop as if one of my four children is going to drive it. It has to be absolutely right when it leaves”. It’s that ethic that has earned him his reputation and allowed him to build a thriving business from the ground up.
Persa Auto Repair is a full service repair center handling normal maintenance upkeep such as oil changes and tune-ups, brakes, alignment, exhaust, tires and suspension work. They outshine the competition when it comes to identifying hard-to-diagnose issues. “Anything that can go mechanically wrong with a car, we fix” David said. While they do not do body work, he says, they do handle a lot of mechanical work for body shops and diagnostic work for local repair shops. “I diagnose every car that rolls into my building.”
They work on foreign and domestic vehicles and are certified to do safety and emission inspections on cars, trucks, motorcycles and trailers. Persa Auto Repair has a staff of five with a combined experience of about 65 years. David’s passion and drive have earned him the most loyal customers in the valley. He’s not just a mechanic he’s a friend.
