Guest local breweries and food trucks will join live music for Live at the Falls

Easton Main Street Initiative announces Live at the Falls, a new concert series featuring local breweries, food trucks, and live music in Scott Park. The series, formally held at Riverside Amphitheatre, is moving to the new venue to make way for expanded food and drink options. Scott Park is located in Downtown Easton at the confluence of the Delaware and Lehigh Rivers and features sweeping views of the waterfront along with a performance stage, grassy areas for picnicking, and a children’s playground.

Easton’s, Porters’ Pub will be partnering with Shangy’s Beer Distributor to spotlight different local crafter breweries at each of the concert events. Breweries will also be on-hand to talk about their beers. Raffles will be held at the end of the evenings and feature brewery swag, a case of beer from the spotlight brewery, and a gift certificate from Shangy’s.

Event-goers should plan to come hungry; food trucks and food vendors will be on hand for dinner and dessert options. The first concert will feature two dining options. Sumac Catering, a staple at the former Weyerbacher Wednesday market, will be serving up their famous garlic chicken wraps and falafel wraps. Profeta Farms, well known for their organic farm in Readington, New Jersey, will be serving up burgers and milkshakes. Partnering with Chef Lee Chizmer of Mister Lee’s Noodles and Bolete Restaurant, their food truck will be highlighting ingredients fresh from their farm. Additional food trucks will be announced throughout the season.

Live at the Falls concerts are held on the second Friday of the month, 7:00-9:00pm, May thru September. Scott Park is located along Larry Holmes Drive between the Northampton Street “Free” Bridge and the South Third Street Bridge. Metered parking is available along Larry Holmes Drive and through-out the business district. Scott Park is also a short walk from both City parking garages; parking is a flat-rate of $1 after 5pm.

August 11th: Nakked Soul with guest brewery, Sly Fox
September 8th: The Big Fuss with guest brewery, Sole Ales
