USA advances to Semi-finals versus Argentina in Copa America Centenario

With a 2-1 victory vs. Ecuador Thursday evening, the US Men’s National Soccer Team advances to the semi-finals of the Copa America Centenario on June 21^st against  Argentina and Lehigh Valley SoccerFest at SteelStacks will have all the action.

Highlighting SoccerFest on Tuesday is the 9 p.m. USA match shown on the campus’ jumbo screens on the Levitt Pavilion lawn and outside the PBS 39 building. In addition, a third screen will return to the Air Products Town Square, courtesy of Metro Technology Graphics. The evening, which begins at 7 p.m., also features:

– Small-sided games presented by Lehigh Valley United & Kwik Goal Soccer Tennis

– Soccer merch for sale by Pocono Cup and ArtsQuest

– Inflatables by Bethlehem Steel FC
– Performance on the Air Products Town Square

– Booths by Discover Lehigh Valley, American Outlaws Bethlehem & more.

The US Men’s national team will also advance with a win to the finals on Sunday, June 26^th at 8 p.m. or the consolation match, Saturday June 25^th at 8 p.m. No matter the outcome, SteelStacks will once again be showing all of the action beginning at 6 p.m. with a variety of soccer activities, food and beverages leading into the match at PNC Plaza, the same location SoccerFest showed the women’s finals in 2015.

A partnership between Discover Lehigh Valley, Lehigh Valley United, Lehigh Mining & Navigation and ArtsQuest, Lehigh Valley SoccerFest is a free festival that has attracted single-game crowds of up to 10,000 cheering fans to SteelStacks in past years.
