With activities and entertainment for the entire family, this nine-day festival, hailed by the Washington Post as a “Must See” festival and named one of “America’s Top Celebrations” by USA Today, has something for everyone. Featured will be Pennsylvania Dutch food of every variety, the largest traditional quilt sale in the nation, craft demonstrations, historical reenactments, traditional music, and dancing. New vendors this year include:

• The Folk Festival Wine Tour showcasing 5 unique wineries
• New performance: “Runaway Home” hailing from Nashville performing on Sunday, June 28th
• Expanding on last year’s inaugural success and popularity, the Mountain Folk Opry will return for an evening variety show
• The Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center at Kutztown University will feature an expanded folklife display and demonstration area related to local Mennonite culture
• 25 new craftsmen added to the mix of 200 of the Northeast’s finest artisans

This year’s Kutztown Folk Festival will run through July 5 with the following hours:

• Evening hours on select nights (July 3 and 4) from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• June 29 and 30; July 1, 2, and 5 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
