The Swain School, 1100 S. 24th St., Allentown, has announced its new Summer at Swain program, offering a variety of half-day and whole-day programs during the month of July. Through March 27, early registration discounts are available.
The program includes four weeks of camp sessions for all children entering preschool through grade 9 in Fall 2015. Most camps are one week long, while one is two weeks long.
The camps include Robotics, 3-D Printing, Outdoor Explorations (trips off campus), photography, drawing, public speaking, sports, outdoor games, Comedy 101, public speaking, dance, arts and crafts, science and math, among many others.
Summer at Swain will also feature the World Peace Game camp (designed by educator John Hunter) and is a site for Camp Rhythmo, an interactive health and wellness program, encouraging health self-discovery through music, movement, science and the creative arts.
Morning sessions run from 9 a.m.-noon, and the afternoon sessions are from 1-4 p.m. Before- and after-camp care extends the day from 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., for an additional fee.
