BETHLEHEM SPECIAL OLYMPICS needs a volunteer for Head Coach for Rhythmic Gymnastics.  Some dance experience preferred, but not required.  Weekly practices on Wednesdays until June.  Coaches must attend a training session to be certified.  Call Dana Lindsey, 267-221-7740, volunteers@BethlehemSOPA.org.

COMMUNITY BIKE WORKS, Allentown needs “Earn-A-Bike” instructors for children ages 9-17.  Volunteers will mentor and assist children in repairing bicycles.  Commitment is 6-8pm one night a week for 12 weeks.  No experience necessary.  Training provided.  Call Dave Edinger, 610-434-1140, dedinger@communitybikeworks.org.

DELAWARE & LEHIGH NATL. HERITAGE CORRIDOR, Easton needs volunteers to be D&L Ambassadors.   Ambassadors will represent the organization at “Pop Up Visitor Centers” along the trail, at Corridor outreach events, and at National Canal Museum membership tables.  Ambassadors must attend one training session; trainings are offered monthly.  Call Terri Monserrat, 610-923-3548 x224, terri@delawareandlehigh.org.

GOOD SHEPHERD REHABILITATION NETWORK, Allentown needs volunteers for their Gift Shop from 9am-noon Monday-Friday.  Volunteers assist customers, sell merchandise, and stock shelves.  Must be able to make change, be customer friendly, be dependable, and have the ability to understand, remember, and follow verbal/written instructions.  Training will be provided.  Call JoAnn Frey, 610-776-3125, jfrey@gsrh.org.

LEHIGH VALLEY HEALTH NETWORK needs volunteers for the following opportunities:  Gift Shop (many shifts available, weekdays & weekends); No One Dies Alone Phone Coordinator (can be performed remotely); Volunteer Services Runners; Wayfinding Volunteers; Pharmacy Volunteer; Street Medicine Office Volunteer (organizing donations); and Transitional Skilled Unit Volunteers (physical and occupational therapy).  Call 610-969-2850, Lynn.schaeffer@lvhn.org or Ruth.Brown@lvhn.org.

MEALS ON WHEELS OF LEHIGH COUNTY, Allentown is looking for substitute volunteers (18+ years) to distribute meals to homebound individuals between 11am-1pm Monday-Friday.  No need to commit to a regular schedule.  Teams of 2 deliver on 33 routes throughout Lehigh County.  Drive a route or ride along as a visitor.  Bring a friend and form a team or let us provide a partner for you.   Next trainings scheduled for 1:30pm Wednesday 2/8, 10:30am Tuesday, 2/14, or 10:30am Thursday 2/23.  Call Dawn Stillwagen, 610-398-2563, dstillwagen@mealsonwheelslc.org.

NEW BETHANY MINISTRIES, Bethlehem needs volunteers to help clean Mollard Hospitality Center after daily meal services.  Shifts available between 1-5pm Monday-Friday.  Tasks include washing dishes, cleaning kitchen, mopping floors, washing tables, etc.  Also need Reception help in Main Office between 9am-4pm Monday-Friday.  Tasks include answering phone, making copies, data entry, etc.  Fill out volunteer interest form at www.newbethanyministries.org or call 610-691-5602.

THIRD STREET ALLIANCE FOR WOMEN & CHILDREN, Easton needs volunteers for their Learning Center to sit with teachers’ children while in meetings from 6-7pm on Wednesday, Feb. 1st.  Also need volunteers to sit with resident children while their parents are in classes from 6:30-7:30pm on Monday, Jan. 30th and Tuesday Jan. 31st.  All volunteers must have clearances.  Call Wendy Hughes, 610-258-6271, whughes@thirdstreetalliane.org.
