LEHIGH VALLEY ZOO, Schnecksville needs volunteers to be an integral part of their Zoo family to help provide Smart fun for over 200,000 visitors annually. Volunteers help in all area of the Zoo, including animal exhibits, events, conservation messaging, activities, development, marketing, and maintenance. PLEASURE OF YOUR COMPANY THERAPY DOGS, INC., Kutztown needs volunteers with therapy dogs to visit residents of Kutztown Manor from 7-8pm every 2nd Monday of the month. Help children develop reading skills at the Brandywine Library by having children read to therapy dogs. Therapy dogs needed to visit residents of Cedarbrook Nursing Home every 2nd Wednesday of the month starting at 7pm. Therapy dog teams must be registered PoYC tested teams. SACRED HEART HOSPITAL, Allentown is seeking volunteers for their busy volunteer department. Tasks include delivering flowers and mail to patients and assisting patients and staff. SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK, Nazareth needs volunteers to help their member agencies shop and load their vehicles on Fridays from 12:30-3pm.
