Local arts organizations partner for this “can’t-miss” event of the summer!

The Allentown Art Museum is partnering with the Allentown Symphony Association, the Baum School of Art, Civic Theatre, Community Music School and the Repertory Dance Theatre to bring you Sizzling Summer Nights on Thursday, August, 9, from 5–7 p.m. in the Allentown Arts Park!

Unwind from work and beat the heat of a dog-day of summer! Join the Allentown Art Museum, Allentown Symphony Association, the Baum School of Art, Civic Theatre, Community Music School, and the Repertory Dance Theatre for this social event that will feature art, music, entertainment, and great local food. See live art demonstrations from artists; listen to music performed by Hector Rosado; and tap into your creative side. After a long day at the office, play a relaxing game of bocce ball on the green grass of the park under the Symphony Hall mural. Or, bring a blanket and simply sit and take in the setting at one of the city’s prettiest areas. This event is free to the public while food and beverages will be available for purchase from the Allentown Symphony Association and a local downtown restaurant. The Arts Park is located on Fifth Street, between Linden and Hamilton Streets.
