ArtsQuest’s Musikfest App was honored during the International Festivals & Events Association’s (IFEA) 58th Annual Convention & Expo in Pittsburgh, Pa., Sept. 16-18. The mobile application, designed by Trifecta Technologies of Allentown and ArtsQuest, captured a Gold Pinnacle Award for the Best Festival/Event Mobile Application during the IFEA/Haas & Wilkerson Pinnacle Awards Sept. 16. This year marks the second year in a row ArtsQuest has captured top honors in the mobile app category at the awards, which recognize innovativeness and creativity in the festivals and events industry.

Launched in July 2012, the Musikfest app features comprehensive information on Musikfest’s 300-plus performers, 60 food vendors and 45 artisans, as well as an interactive festival map and schedules, festival updates in real-time and more. More than 15,000 unique visitors used the app in 2013, an 11-percent increase over 2012.
