MUSIKFEST OFFERING SPECIAL 30TH ANNIVERSARY FESTIVAL PRINT

MusikfestFireworks_TedColegroveMusikfest guests looking to relive all the music, magic and memories of the festival’s 30th Anniversary Celebration have a new way to do so with the official Musikfest 30th Anniversary Print and Postcard.

The Musikfest 30th Anniversary Print and Postcard feature a gorgeous image of fireworks exploding over SteelStacks on the closing night of Musikfest 2013. The photograph was taken from the roof of the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks Aug. 11 by Musikfest volunteer photographer Ted Colegrove.

“Our volunteer photographers are at Musikfest day in and day out, looking for unique ways to capture the energy, excitement and feel of the festival,” said ArtsQuest Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations Curt Mosel. “We’ve always said what an incredible resource our volunteers are. Ted’s photograph is an excellent example of the amazing work that our talented photographers create. We’ve received a number of inquiries in regard to this image since we shared it with our patrons on our website and via social media, so we’re excited that we can make it available for purchase as a work of art for home or office.”

The Musikfest 30th Anniversary Print, produced by Ray Smicker of Silver Images, is 8.5-inches high by 11-inches wide and comes suitable for framing. It retails for $24.95 and is available from the Online Shop at www.musikfest.org, as well as at the Stacks Shop at the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks, 101 Founders Way, Bethlehem. The postcards, perfect for sharing with family and friends, cost $1 each and are available only at the Stacks Shop.

On Aug. 24, members of the public will have the opportunity to meet Colegrove and have him sign their copies of the Musikfest 30th Anniversary Print during an Artist Signing at the Stacks Shop. The event will take place from 4-6 p.m., and both the poster and postcard will be available for purchase.

“I’ve always enjoyed live music. It’s where artists and their fans really connect,” says Colegrove, a Bethlehem resident. “Musikfest gives artists a perfect venue for their music to affect not only their fans, but new listeners too. This image highlights some of the best days of the summer. I look forward to the festival each year.”

Musikfest 2013 took place Aug. 2-11 throughout Bethlehem. The festival’s 30th Anniversary Celebration featured more than 500 music performances on 14 stages, as well as 60 food vendors, 45 artisans and more.
