Habitat for Humanity’s mission is to provide affordable housing for hardworking low-income families. Homeowners must put in “sweat equity” of 250 hours before getting Habitat’s no-interest mortgage because Habitat strives to give potential homeowners a “hand up” instead of a “hand out.” Habitat Lehigh Valley will eclipse building our 100th home since our founding 1989! You can help us to continue to provide housing for those in need by joining us at the Toast of Hope on February 21st.
