As part of the U.S. Department of Defense’s 50th Anniversary commemoration of the Vietnam War www.vietnamwar50th.com, the Lehigh Valley Chapter of the American Gold Star Mothers will honor three area families who lost their sons during the war. The families of PFC Dennis Burian of Allentown, SP4 Victor Doddy of Bethlehem and SP4 Richard Kauffman of Center Valley will be recognized during the presentation at SteelStacks.
The American Gold Star Mothers is a national organization of mothers who have lost a son or daughter in the service of our country. The local chapter is also interested in learning about and meeting with other area families who may have lost a son or daughter during the war.
