Chef Robert Irvine, star of the Food Network shows “Dinner: Impossible” and “Restaurant: Impossible,” and Americana group The Steel Wheels highlight the dozen new shows announced for the Musikfest Café presented by Yuengling, located at the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks, 101 Founders Way, Bethlehem. Tickets for the shows are on sale now and available at www.artsquest.org and 610-332-3378.
On Nov. 16, 7 p.m., Chef Robert Irvine will bring a brand-new flavor to the Musikfest Café. Much more than a cooking demonstration, this highly-interactive show brings to life the many challenges Irvine faces on his television shows. Irvine’s own culinary craftsmanship mixed with multi-sensory music and video content, plus a few dashes of unplanned excitement, combine for a great night of culinary entertainment.
Prior to the show, a limited number of guests can also enjoy a VIP experience with Irvine from 6-7 p.m. During the VIP event, guests will enjoy a private cooking demonstration by Irvine and have the opportunity to sample the delicious dishes he prepares. Also included in the experience are a meet & greet and photo opportunity with the chef. VIP event tickets, which also include tickets to the 7 p.m. show, are $150 each.
The Steel Wheels, who will perform March 6, 2014, have been captivating audiences nationwide with their soulful mountain music. This four-piece string band from Virginia serves up rich harmonies and the vivid melodies of the fiddle, upright bass and mandolin, creating a sound unlike any other. Excellent musicianship, coupled with spirited stage presence, make the Steel Wheels a ‘must-see’ act.
