Bethlehem Go BraghIt only seems right that the City with the largest Celtic festival in North America would paint the town GREEN for a full week of “all things Irish”, to celebrate the coming of St. Patrick’s Day, and the largest St. Patrick’s Day Parade in the Lehigh Valley!

On any day of the week, March 9-17, you can enjoy Irish fare, music, events, and specials in the two downtowns of Bethlehem!  Then, on March 16th, You may call it St. Patrick’s Day; but the downtowns of Bethlehem like to call it ”half way to Celtic Classic!” Either way, get on your green and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Historic Downtown Bethlehem with the Parade of Shamrocks–the streets will be filled with the sound of bagpipes, and all things Irish!

Join Historic Downtown Bethlehem during the Week of Irish Festivities for the Pot’o’Gold Scavenger Hunt!  Visit anytime during the week of March 12th – the 17th to participate.

The Pot’o’Gold Scavenger Hunt will follow clues given in the form of limericks, relating to participating Downtown Bethlehem Businesses. Participants will fill out a passport with gold coin stamps  given by the Businesses along the way, to the ultimate Pot’o’Gold; a collection of 20 gift certificates starting at $25.00 each plus 2 tickets to the Celtic Classic Parade of Shamrocks St. Patrick’s Day Party! A value over $500!

Simply recite the correct Limerick to a staff member inside the Matching business to get your stamp! Each gold coin stamp will serve as a chance to win the entire pot! Increase your chances of taking home the gold by collecting more stamps. The winner of the Pot’o’Gold will be drawn and announced on Saturday March 17th at 12:00 at American Hairlines! So come Downtown early, Collect your Pot’o’Gold and get your seat for the Celtic Classic Parade of Shamrocks!

The first 20 Contestants to complete the scavenger hunt will automatically receive a $10.00 gift certificate valid at any DBA Member Business. Return completed Pot’o’Gold Passport to Donegal Square, located at 534 Main St. asap!

  • One Passport per person or group. 18 yrs old and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Contest starts 3/12/12 deadline to complete 3/16/12 at 7pm at Donegal Square
  • When turning passports in at Donegal Square a raffle ticket will be given in exchange for each stamp collected whether it is 1 or all 20. Raffle tickets will be used to pick the winner. Only 1 Grand Prize winner will be selected!
  • Winner to be drawn and announced on 3/17/12 at 12:00 at American Hairlines!
  • Need not be present to win. Winner will be contacted if not present at drawing
